Miss Sara
'It’s summertime, but Miss Sara doesn’t stop!'
It’s been a few months since my last blog (oops!), but better late than never I say. Last time I was writing in dreary January, but here we are now in the throws of summer. Many people are winding down getting ready for their summer break, but not here at Sara Horner School of Dance!

Our little dancers don’t have long now until our children’s classes take a rest over August, however our adult dancers are still dancing with me . Keeping fit and active all year round is so important for a healthy lifestyle (we all know that) but also being social and meeting new friends as frequently as possible makes us so much happier human beings. So let’s be social, active and happy this summer at our lovely adult ballet and tap classes! Then let’s go for a coffee or something more exciting.

I hope to continue filling my classes with lovely, happy students, so I am making an appearance at ‘Oakwood Craft Market Ist Birthday Bash’ on Saturday 29th July 2017. I can’t wait to meet some potential Sara Horner School of Dance participants.
There is also another exciting event taking place this summer - I am a proud Ambassador for ‘Child Friendly Leeds’ who are celebrating their 5th birthday. As part of the celebrations, they are hosting a FREE weekend of activities for children, young people and their families on Sat 22 & Sun 23 July. Make sure you show your support for a fabulous organisation and enjoy all that Leeds has to offer, and please share the event on social media using #CFLis5.
From September, we have a new, magical ballet and tap class for 3 to 4 year olds called ‘Miss Sara’s Starlets.' We’ll be having the time of our lives, making such gorgeous dance memories whilst learning how to jump, plié, turn, leap, bounce, tip toe run.... the possibilities are endless. Such a lovely addition to our group of classes and another opportunity to promote health and an active lifestyle for the young people of Leeds.
Well, if I don’t see you in class (but I sincerely hope I do) , have a super summer. Let’s hope the Leeds weather doesn’t spoil it!
Best wishes and ice lollies
